Best time

April – October

The Navigarda ferries turn a simple crossing into an experience. Instead of sitting in traffic on the often-congested Gardesana road, you glide across the lake and discover the villages and landscapes of Lake Garda from a completely new perspective — slowly, relaxed and with the wind in your face.

The ferry network on Lake Garda

Navigazione Laghi operates a dense network of scheduled and fast ferries connecting the most important places around Lake Garda. From Desenzano in the south to Riva del Garda in the north, the ferries open up almost all the sights and villages a visitor could wish to explore — without a car and without searching for parking.

Key connections from Campione

From the nearest landing stage at Gargnano or Limone sul Garda, you can comfortably reach Malcesine with its impressive Scaligero castle, Torbole and Riva del Garda at the northernmost tip of the lake, as well as Sirmione and its famous Grotto of Catullus in the south. Each crossing is at the same time a small voyage through ever-changing panoramas.

Bicycles and vehicles on board

The ferry is especially popular with cyclists: bicycles can be brought aboard on almost all lines, making the combination of a cycling trip and a ferry crossing a particularly attractive option. This allows you to ride one stretch of the well-known Lake Garda cycle path and then return by boat in a relaxed fashion.

Day-trip destinations by ferry

Limone sul Garda, the picturesque village of citrus gardens, is reachable directly by ferry and pairs beautifully with a half-day excursion. Malcesine on the eastern shore of the lake offers not only its castle but also a cable car up to Monte Baldo — an unforgettable panoramic adventure. Sirmione lures visitors with its historic lanes, thermal baths and the unique feel of a peninsula jutting into the middle of the lake.

Fast ferries and excursion cruises

In addition to scheduled line services, Navigazione Laghi offers seasonal excursion cruises, including romantic evening sailings, moonlight cruises and themed round trips. These are equally popular with families, couples and groups, offering a very special view of the illuminated Lake Garda at dusk.
